Traffic Lights Ditchford Crossing Causing Delays, 17th April
Noticed over the last couple of days heavy traffic for these lights and a short opportunity to cross so reported as a timing review. However today heading towards the A45 the lights went out completely before coming back on as amber then red. This was followed by the opposite traffic then coming over twice before we could proceed on a green towards the A45. If this is happening frequently this could also be contributing to the heavy traffic.

Traffic lights changing too quickly, 17th April
At 08:00hrs when I p[ass through here, the traffic lights are only staying green for a matter of seconds, only allowing 4 cars through each way. They are spending far more time changing back and forth than letting vehicles through. This morning there was a queue of cars 3/4's of the way up the Irthlingborough side of the lights and it took over ten minutes to get through the lights. This has been going on a little while now and needs resolving asap.

Footpath overgrown and rutted, 14th April
Whilst house building work was carried out it was understood that the footpath would be reinstated. Despite a great effort by the developers to plant a new hedge and fencing along the eastern edge of the footpath, no effort has been shown to maintain the public footpath itself, the original field hedge on the western edge of the path is over hanging the path. The impressive effort to maintain the Nene Fields housing estate is in stark contrast to the public footpath. Planting of a new hedge is normally commendable but it will only create further obstruction to the public footpath. The path that runs along the western edge of the development is blocked as it is rutted and overgrown. It also needs to be cleared of plastic building waste and rubbish that has been left by the developers of the site.
