FIXMYSTREET IN NN7 2QN
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of NN7 2QN:
Blind exit of driveway onto road, 8th May
Due to the increased parked cars along Hartwell Road it is now impossible to see any traffic coming from either direction when we are pulling out of our driveway. It is resulting in dangerous near miss collisions almost every time we leave the drive. Please could we request a mirror on the lamppost or telephone post outside 9 Hartwell Road to minimise the potential of any future accidents. (Or permission to install our own) We’ve lived here for 2 years now and it’s causing a lot of anxiety every time we need to pull off the drive. This seems like a simple and easy fix to keep everyone safe and avoid an accident. Thank you in advance

Blocked Drainage, 3rd May
Every time there is moderate pain this puddle forms due to blocked drain. It obstructs the pavement and are concerned that it could put extra water into drain on the other side of the road.

Condition of footway, 1st May
The path between the A508 and Rookery Farm is in a very poor condition and also needs siding out. This path is now used a lot by pedestrians who use is to link up with all the other nice new footpaths around the new bypass. Its very hard to walk along it with a dog as you can both barely fit on the path, its impossible for anyone in a mobility scooter or parents with buggies. The path needs siding out to get the width back and could also do with resurfacing.

A508 Bypass lane coned off and 30mph, 10th April
As far as I understand it, the A508 Roade bypass is completed? If so, why is a lane still coned off and a speed limit imposed of 30mph? There is no sign of any ongoing works and nothing looks like it is incomplete. I'm sure I've seen a notice that it was Complete? SEGRO logistics site says all work has been completed! Please investigate and establish if and why it is absolutely essential for all of this to still be in place and provide a reason and planned clearance date in your response. Thank you.

Drain outside Number 1 Hartwell road has blocked drain outside, 4th April
The blocked drain in front of 1 Hartwell Road is blocked and when it rains a large puddle that covers half to full cover of carriage way. The cars going past give a huge plume of dirty water onto her stone wall that is a listed property and if the puddle is bigger it goes over the wall and hits the house as well. The water is dirty and damaging the stone on both wall and house. It also goes over the occupant or anyone else that is walking there at the time a car comes by. They cannot avoid going through the water.
