Potholes outside Springbank, Guilsborough Hill, 12th April
A couple of potholes outside this property. This section is quite uneven and on a steep hill which is used by a number of cyclists who could injure themselves quite badly. Residents have also tripped up on these potholes as pedestrians.
Previously reported under ref: 5701917 but closed off. Residents have concerns about safety here.

40mph limit sign has been damaged/removed and is in the roadside ditch., 8th April
First spotted this sign missing on 6 April 2024.
This road is popular with walkers to and from Ravensthorpe Reservoir.
As a regular walker on this road there has been a significant increase in the speed on vehicles since this sign is no longer there which is a significant safety hazard.

Deteriorating road surface on bend due to pavement subsurface drainage issue, 25th March
Over winter, the resultant high water table has accumulated water underneath the road pavement and water has percolated through at several points over a 10m stretch. The road surface is now showing signs of deterioration.

There is a deep pothole on one side of the road and another on the opposite side. Because it is a single track road it is very difficult to avoid them. There are also a couple more potholes just to the south of the ones I have reported.

This drain has been blocked for some months now. Any rain immediately floods the bend of the road which is a busy through road.

Large pothole on Spratton road, just before recently re-surfaced section, 19th February
The pothole has been here for a couple of months, but has deteriorated significantly in the past couple of weeks. I hit it recently in the morning on the way to work. It was unavoidable as there was a lot of traffic coming the other way. It burst my tyre and left me stranded.

150mm pothole on Teeton road, 18th January
Puncture to tyre caused by 150 mm dangerous pothole on Teeton road. Unsure as to how long pothole has been there however as it is considerably deep it suggests it has been there for some time and hasn’t been repaired.
