Double yellow lines obliterated after 14 months, 18th April
February 2023 at the formal request of Long Buckby Parish Council, (report ref 4205130), you renewed the double yellow lines on LB High Street between the junction with Brington Road & the 'Pinstripes' shop front. As you will see from the photos these line have already been largely obliterated. Cars parked in this location cause a serious accident hazard (just as they did when you painted the lines before). Accordingly the Parish Council once again formally requests that you renew the lines as soon as possible. I doing so we point out that the risk is at its highest at rush hour times and when the adjacent school 'turns out'.

Drain cover broken and raised, 3rd April
The drain cover is broken. A few weeks ago the council cordoned it off and has since taken no further action. Consequently traffic flow is impeded with two way traffic not possible and access/ egress from one of the properties is difficult.
Why has this matter been abandoned?

Road is littered with dangerous potholes, 2nd April
The road has been in a dire state since 2022. You emailed to say work would be completed by 13/03/24 but have now changed it to ‘within 26 weeks’. Will you keep changing the date until there is no tarmac left?

There are potholes along Church St and down The Banks, big enough for me to lose a mobility scooter wheel and be tipped off. They've been there all winter and really must be mended this week.

Kerbstones loose and at different levels, 8th March
The two (or more) kerbstones are loose and no level causing a trip hazard. Apart from that this corner of Holyoake Terrace to East Street is holding large amounts of water after rainfall which I suspect is adding to the problem. A drain may help the situation but commercial vehicles running over the kerbs will contribute.

4 ft x 3.5ft pothole in front of entrance to house, 7th March
This pothole (broken down tarmac) was filled in about 4 years ago with the the same problem but on a smaller scale, the area is now a trip hazard again and when it rains clay runs out of the cracks which means tip toeing around it to be able to access the entrance to my house.
I’ve tripped up on it a few times, the path is also used by local residents,
The issue issue began around a year after the last repair and has become progressively worse particularly in the last 12 months
