Multiple Huge Deep Potholes & Severe Rutting, 25th April
The whole edge of this sharp bend on this narrow section of road heading towards the t-junction with Towcester Road / Litchborough Road is littered with multiple deep dangerous potholes and servere rutting and broken away sections of tarmac.
Cars are having to drive / swerve onto the wrong side of the road to avoid driving into a canyon and there is a serious accident just waiting to happen which highways / the council will be liable and culpable for.
This whole road needs closing, skimming, subbase rebuilding and then full resurfacing.

Huge Gully / Deep Rut at Edge of Road, 25th April
There is a very deep gully / rut running all along the edge of Litchborough Road as you head out of Grimscote towards Litchborough.
This gully runs along the edge of the road from Mill Lane down to Cherry Bungalow.
Reporting for the 4th time as it still hasn't been repaired or resurfaced and it makes the useable width of the road very narrow particularly given the farm vehicles and machinery that use this road.

Severe Rutting & Cracking to Road Surface, 22nd April
There is a small section of road surface by the entrance to number 15 on Church Street that is badly rutted and has severe cracking and bumps to the surface.
Unfortunately this small section was missed during the recent resurfacing works and requires a cut and patch resurface repair.

Grass Verge Completely Destroyed, 22nd April
This grass verge has been completely destroyed by vehicles / grass cutting machinery.
This is due to the verge being saturated with water because the two ditches either side of the entrance to the two houses are both completely full of silt/mud/debris so water has been flowing onto this verge all winter.
The ditches needs completely dredging and clearing so that water can effectively drain away.
The the grass verge needs leveling and some fresh grass seed and topsoil / top dressing applying.

Blocked drain potential for flooding, 20th April
The road drain at the top of Penthorne Close next to Rose Cottage is now overflowing with water due to the blocked drain at the junction of Mill Lane, causing water to back up. This drain is completely full of debris and water is pouring down Mill Lane. The area outside Rose Cottage has been identified as an area liable to flood due to the natural basin of the land, with the potential to flood adjacent properties.
The cover is half in and half out will be a trip hazard and could easily damage cars The debris is pushing cover up Farm nearby hjave been lambing and drain always suffers because of this

Culvert drain opposite Ivy Bank, Mill lane, Grimscote .NN12 8LJ, 17th April
Blocked drain/culvert in bank on corner of Mill lane/ Penthorne close opposite Ivy Bank entrance (NN12 8LJ). Water and Farm effluent flowing over surface of road. This problem has been reported and supposedly fixed (ref no 4805074), but no one even found the drain as it is covered by undergrowth and is still flowing over the road after several years of blockage. Strong smell as no rain today to wash it away.

Edge of Road Worn Away - Rutting & Potholes, 28th March
The edge of the road along the village green has very badly worn away / subsided casing the road surface to break up and severely rut.
This has caused potholes and gullies to form along the edge of the road.
Additionally the village green has fallen into the road causing the road to have been made narrower than it should be ( this can be seen by the crushed grass verge on a cast iron man hole cover level with the road surface.
This has caused this already narrow section of road to be even narrower and with a blind bend.
This is extremely dangeorus for the double decker buses and school buses that come along this section. Village Green needs re-edging and perhaps kerbing installed along it.
