I drove up this road for about three quarters of a mile, from the old road, before I turned around.. There are numerous potholes in a number of places. It's not just that they are difficult to drive around but they are very deep. You'd have no hope if you were on a bicycle and god forbid you were riding up there in the dark. The road is just a mess.

Deep potholes all along, 3rd February
The surface of this lane has heavily deteriorated over the last few months with numerous deep potholes. Some are of a size that's difficult to avoid on a single track road and are a risk to traffic and horses particularly when rain-filled.

Two deep potholes opening up, about 100 yds apart, 26th November
This is a very narrow lane with no room to avoid two deep potholes which are getting bigger as the weather worsens. Likely to damage car tyres/wheels. Also dangerous for cyclists and riders as in direct path and difficult to see in poor light.

Drain blocked, water coming out of it, 9th January
When there is heavy rain water comes up out of the drain and onto the road. Must be a blockage somewhere.

Narrow lane narrower than it should be, 30th December
It's a nasty corner, always has been. The hedge has been cut back and now you can really tell how long it's been since the 'roadmen' cut the sides of the road back. Remember the good old days.....anyway I would say the lane is at least three feet narrower than it should be because the bank has encroached on the lane. It's a nasty corner and people on bikes or walking need all the room they can get !

Potholes back again, 30th December
Potholes back again here in the usual places. Very difficult to miss them now as they are on both sides of the lane. Pothole back a short distance up the lane too, between Oak Cottage & Box Cottage.

Pipe in ditch blocked, 30th December
The ditch is full of water as the pipe must be blocked.. The result is that water runs down the lane like a torrent to a drain maybe fifty yards away. This happens every year and I think its questionable as to whether the pipe is regularly cleaned out. When the drain cannot cope or gets blocked the lane is flooded.

Deep pothole, 9th January
Pothole, deep, and getting bigger. Road is narrow but can still avoid it at the moment when in a car. This road is well used by cyclists, especially when its dark, and I am concerned for them as well as my tyres ! The pothole is on the straight bit of road , before Box Cottage.

Two potholes, 9th January
Two potholes are getting so big now it is now nearly impossible to miss them when in a car. The one pothole is a recurring one , has been filled in many times obviously not successfully ...................

The road from Hall Farm to the public house "The King of Prussia" contains many potholes, some of them deep and dangerous.
