Footpath/ right of way from St Luke’s road to feederbank is overgrown and felled tree’s have been dumped blocking path stopping it from being used.

As the description, you only need to turn left onto Chartist Way and you will feel them. Reported to Blaenau Gwent Council many times but apparently they can't find them.

Unnecessary rubbish, 14th November
There is constant rubbish put outside houses outside of wheelie bins. There is now a dead rat on the pathway.

Public right of way blocked, 27th October
A fence has been put up replacing a stile and blocking a public right of way. This footpath down to the river is used by locals walking dogs and for exercise.
The contractor putting the fence in told a number of people that the council has done it to stop kids going under the 9 Arches and starting fires etc. since the pathway has been blocked kids are just jumping over the fence. The only people it’s stopping are local residents!
The footpath access needs to be reinstated as no consultation has been carried out on blocking the right of way. This consultation is supposed to be carried out as per statutory requirement.

Unmaintained tree, 29th September
The tree roots have uplifted the pavement causing an elderly lady to fall and break ribs. The roots have smashed the sewage pipes underground and when there is heavy rain the sewage spills up onto the pavement. The leaves block the drains and when it rains heavy my parents house number 74 gets flooded. The branches over hang and could break off with buses or lorries into the nearby cars or pedestrians. This issue has been present for around 8 years. Its causing my 75 year old dad stress and anxiety. My mothers disabled bed is in the living room with electrics and electric wheelchair. Mybdad sweeps the leaves because the council send the sweep at 8 am when everyones cars are still there.

Speed camera needed before someone is killed!, 11th June
This is a 30 mph zone but nobody coming down from the Industrial Estate pays any attention to it. I have seen many narrow misses here and one moron was coming down easily at 60mph and nearly ended up in the side of a car coming out of the Crown Industrial Estate to turn left up onto the A465.

Flytipping into brook area, 3rd May
Someone has flytipped tyres, commercial plastic bread trays, orange piping and other items from inside the old coach depot on Rassau Road into the stream and surrounding banking. This was done between 7pm 2nd May and 10am 3rd May 2023

Fire ash is dumped alongside a public footpath, 27th April
For several months fire ash is being thrown over the boundary of a dwelling which backs on to a footpath adjacent to Feeder Bank Road, Tredegar, NP22 4DT. To locate it you need to go to the very end of Feeder Bank Road and then take a few steps along the footpath you find there and look to the right. Quite a mountain of ash has accumulated which is unsightly but also a potential fire risk as the warmer, dryer days of summer approach. Hot ash could easily ignite the large areas of bramble and dead wood alongside the path.

Continuous fly tipping, 16th March
People are fly tipping daily here, this area is cleaned weekly by a local litter picking champion but rubbish continues to be thrown here every night. There are no litter bins anywhere along mountain road.

Litter roams the street ( and streets around) 24/7 especially immediately after the recycling truck has collected , because the collectors drop stuff everywhere and just leave it . Biggest problem is the bins system being used ., 24th February
Eyesore, forever picking up other people’s rubbish outside and inside my garden . Youths dumping drinks cans everywhere! Been like this for years I am informed , certainly has been since I moved her last August after buying this property .

There is a trench on the corner, 24th February
If you are coming up the hill and turn left onto Chartist Way, you bounce from one pothole to the trench. This has been the case for quite a few months. Obviously Blaenau Gwent council don't care but I continue to report these issues in the hope that eventually these muppets will get replaced and the new people will do something about it.

Multiple potholes and road worn away, 19th January
There is multiple pot holes and the road has worn away, this has been like this for over 12 months. And it damaging vehicles and this is part access to a main bridleway
