Potholes galore, 21st March
Potholes are covering both sides of the road in this location. The road surface has unfortunately become atrocious. Somebody is going to damage their vehicle eventually it’s become that bad. The potholes have been present for a few months now and are becoming more severe as time goes on.

These potholes have been here for several months but are now very big and deep. They appear to be getting worse daily. Because of traffic these potholes are very difficult to drive around.

Constant tipping on this road., 11th March
There is a terrible issue on this road for fly tipping and general litter. Particularly on the hill stretch of the road and for a few miles after it. I drive this road regularly and the issue has recently got atrociously bad unfortunately. Litter and fly tipping line the road at this location.

The potholes and general road surface here on the hill through the wooded area has deteriorated badly in the past few months. Numerous potholes are scattered over this hill section of the road.

Noisy street light, 20th January
Whenever there’s a slight breeze the lamppost makes an awful racket and keeps us awake. The noise is a constant metallic ‘ding’ as the wires hit the inside column. This has been the case for over 5 years but my annual requests via Newport Council’s ‘report a street light problem’ page go unanswered. I realise it’s a minor issue but it would be lovely if one day the Council could find the time to fix it before the ringing drives me mad.

At the N.W. end of the garden, of the Harvester pub, a large amount of brambles from a tree/ bush, within the said grounds of the premises, overhang the public footpath, at eye level. Dispite an undermanager having been told of the danger a week ago, the Danger remains. When someone loses an eye, perhaps something may be done??
