A number of large and deep potholes have developed yet again on this bend. Attempts at avoidance forces vehicles dangerously into the path of oncoming vehicles. This is a regular and recurring problem.

Public bin broken & missing, 9th November
On Morgan Way Duffryn, a public bin has been damaged and ripped off of the street light pole removing the ability to deposit rubbish on one side of street. The missing bin is near to the entrance/exit of Buccaneer Way. The bracket and fixings are still in place where you can see the bin has been ripped off. Please could this be replaced at the earliest convenience. Many thanks.

Potholes, 16th May
As you come onto Morgan Way from Lighthouse Rod the pot holes on the left is awful. Cars are trying to avoid them by going over to the wrong side of the road but this is causing dangerous situations with on coming traffic. Especially with the grass being so long it’s not helping with the visibility.

Rubbish (including broken glass), 16th May
A large black bag of rubbish was dumped here and has now been disrupted all over the edge of Lighthouse Road up to just past the entrance of Morgan way. Unfortunately there is a lot of broken glass here which cars are swerving as to not drive over! Past the entrance to Morgan Way is a small piece of furniture. This is dangerous for cars. This pot hole is towards the edge of the road and is approx 6 inches deep. It has been filled in previously but reoccurs due to standing water and heavy vehicles.

Street light flickering, 18th December
This light flickers on and off. It’s extremely annoying at night. With a bedroom at the front of the house it’s like a light show in the bedroom. Outside it is dark and light and not good for safety

This pot hole is quite deep and towards the edge of the road. It is near some houses but exact location might be a little out as I only drive along this road in the dark atm.

Large pot hole, 8th December
This pot hole has been developing on the junction for a number of weeks and has now got quite large and deep and is impossible to avoid. This junction has had a poor surface for some years with pot holes regularly developing. Morgan Way is used as a cut through by numerous big lorries (42 tonnes?) which are based at depots along lighthouse road and as such needs a more resilient surface on that junction.

Car left abandoned on street. Belongs to Hermes delivery driver and has broken down and not been moved in 8 weeks. Vehicle is uninsured and in poor condition.
