Loose/rattling cover/ironwork problem, 9th May
We have a rear parking area to our home which runs over a drain access and there are two collapsed areas leading to the drain which has created a pot hole affect - see the below photo This is hazard as if it collapses completely there will be a hole for the general public but also a hazard for the cars driving back and forward
I would appreciate if you could send someone to assess or advise who would be best placed to help

Tree is damaged problem, 9th May
trees overhanging my fence at 20 Birch Grove, Good afternoon
I understand from Tony Hobbs at Meadfleet that any branches/overhanging trees are within the roadside verge and as such would be highways responsibility?
Perhaps you could get back to me about this and when I might anticipate these being lopped?

The culvert the whole length of Sedbury Lane from A48 to Beachely Road is silted up. Please can it be emptied and contents taken away. This year as we know has been particularly wet and we have parts of the lane when flooded have been impassable on several occasions. All the farms ploughed their fileds last year and this has increased the amount of silt being washed down into the culverts which means there is nowhere for run off water to go. The area by Tibbs Bridge is full with silt. The cultert opposite Badhams court is 3/4 full and the part that goes under the road is completely blocked. When we have heavy consistent rain it means that all surface water collects at the Beachely Road end and the Tibbs Bridge end making both ends of the lane impassable for normal cars. Now the weather is iporviing please would it be possible for the drains to be dug out so water flows off the road. It would we helpful if all spoil was removed as usually contractors just pile it up on the endge and as soon as we have heavy rain it all washed back into the culvert., 25th April
