Large pothole in narrowing road, 19th February
Large pothole forming where road narrows coming down the hill. There are old stone walls either side. I think it's been made worse by the amount of rainfall and this road always suffers significant water drainage issues in bad weather from water and debris being washed down the hill from higher up. The pothole is growing in size and will eventually be impossible to avoid as the road is narrow

Sofa dumped on footpath, 10th January
It has been put there sometime in the last few days. Blocking the footpath between Blackwood chainsaw shop and Gryphon concrete works.

Fence not repaired since storm Dennis., 14th June
The fence separating the highway from the culdesac is missing. It came down during storm Dennis. Now we have kids running directly from the bushes into the road. There have been a few bear misses with fast moving traffic. I have reported to local housing authority several times but have been ignored. Maybe it takes a death of a child to repair a fence.

The street lighting turns off 2359 for the night, resulting in a dark street. This has two undesirable affects.
1, Cars use this road to turn around and due to being pitch back causing issues with local residents.
2, Security is diminished due to the darkness of street.

Unavoidable pothole, 17th February
There is a pothole that can't be avoided as there are vehicles parked both sides of the road. Potholes are appearing more and more in the street because the road surface is crumbling away all the way down glanhowy road. There are stones flying up at the parked cars when others drive past from the poor eroding condition of the road surface.

Trees and overgrowth blocking junction view, 15th August
At the end of the Private road that joins Heolddu road, the trees, brambles, ferns etc are so badly overgrown, you cannot see left at the junction. This is badly obscuring the view at the junction and you literally have to edge out into the road to see if any vehicles are coming down the lane from bryn meadows golf club way. Vehicles travel quite quick down that hill and edging out into a blind junction is dangerous. This is the only exit road from Wyllie so no other way is possible.

Loose broken road surfaces lower half of Glanhowy Road, 30th June
The entire road surface is loose and broken between the Islwyn Inn and The Glade. The road was resurfaced several years ago and is now coming away in large areas. This is causing vehicles to lose grip on the gravel/sandy surface and will cause an accident if not addressed.
