LARGE POTHOLE causing damage to vehicles in inside land of dual carriageway, 26th April
Pothole been there for approx 10 weeks now, it is large and causing damage to vehicles, is in inside lane of bypass so cannot stop for a picture, between the slip road and layby

Pothole on dual carriage way, 26th April
There is a large pothole on the dual carriage way which I hit last week this has resulted in a new rim and tyer on my car! The pothole is on the start of the dual carriage way from Rogerstone to the Bassaleg roundabout it’s dangerous as you are just coming off the slip road and are concentrating on your driving and the speed limit that’s there!

These two adjacent potholes have been here a number of months. The size of them will cause significant damage to vehicles due to the speed limit on this stretch of road. It’s such a busy road, I’m quite surprised they haven’t yet been sorted!

Extremely Poor Condition, 21st March
Road into industrial estate is in an extremely poor condition, you’ve got to drive on the wrong side of the road to avoid doing damage to your car. I will stop and wait for oncoming traffic to clear so I can change onto the wrong side of the road because it’s damaging the cars now and keeps getting ignored by the council, has been so for years.

Main drain for lane blocked, 1st March
The main drain for the whole lane is blocked and needs lorry gulper to suck out all the rubbish. cannot be done with a shovel..i have tried without success.the grid is one which lifts up on a hinge. a lake is forming in heavy rain impassable to vehicles or walkers.

The potholes are in places over 6 inches deep it is unsafe to drive down the lane. further on there are over20 potholes making the lane dangerous to drive down and for bikes and walkers

Degradation of Road Surface, 18th February
Dear Sirs, Glasllwch View Road surface has been neglected for years with only patch up jobs of Pot Holes being done, the point we are at now is abysmal, there are toomany Pot Holes to mention, my 78 year old Mother recently visited and almost fell over getting out of the car placing her leg on the road, it is now a Health & Safety issue, the break up of the road surface also mean stones and grit arr entering the house on a daily basis, the pavements resurfaced from old Tarmac years ago are also breaking up badly, please look to apply a new proper road and pavement surface, it is a high paying Council Tax area and we deserve better, please visit and you will see for yourself. We just want a proper job done that will last for a long time. Thank You. Simon Coghlan
