Sliproad Is the Shortest in the world could you make it longer and change the road layout i dont know why you made the sliproad so short i nearly missed my junction could you add my signs and making it longer and could you make the signs like what you did the Team Valley Junction/sliproad because t thought the sliproad signw as a works access so i didnt know could you amke sign clearer. because it looks very simlar to a work access sign so please fix this. thank you!

Nuisance parking, 8th March

Drainage issues caused by A1 roadworks causing issues with stones and flooding on Lamesley Road, 5th March
The ongoing roadworks to widen the A1 near the Low Eighton roundabout near Birtley is causing flooding and debris issues to Lamesley road. Water is being redirected as a result of the roadworks down a track that runs parallel to Lamesley road. This has cut a deep channel down the centre of the track and as a result whenever there is rain, water gushes down this track bringing with it a significant amount of debris and stones that are washed onto Lamesley Road. This makes Lamesley Road treacherous to drive down. This has been reported previously to a number of parties and we have been advised that this a national highways issue and you are resolving it. These issues have been ongoing since October and have still not been resolved. Please can you advise on action taken to date and the timeframe for this to be resolved and confirmation that the track will also have remedial works on it to restore it to how it was (as this is a popular walking route). Thank you.

Please Fix Chevons My Car nearly crashed here, 20th February
The Roadworks on the junction can you please remove the chevons because i nearly crashed of confusion and paint small chevons were the 5 traffic cones are, remove them and paint them were i said, and remove the 40 aswell,

Dear A1 Birtley to Coal House Improvement Scheme Please Can you Close this 2 lane into 1 area on The A1231 perment because when there traffic here cars are keep pushing infrount at the merge area so put the traffic cones over this stupid lane and add a works access, so works traffic can see what cars do.

Large Pothole deep which has caused damage to my wheel tyre, 19th November
Large Pothole deep has caused damage to my tyre Pothole in the outer lane of the restricted carriage way where the road restrictions for road works are in place. As you drive past the Bowes incline Bowes hotel on A1 I have taken a photo of the damage and a screen shot of others reporting the pothole warning on sat nav software. I wish to place a claim for the damage

Missing Sign What says use Nearside Lane For A1 J65, 20th September
They put a sign to stop people queues jumping at the roundabout the signs are just on the ground with no purpose they put the sign up once and never put it back just put signs there for ever to stop people going to the roundabout and skipping the queues

So these traffic lights signs have been like this for over 6 years and they haven't done anything about these sign there so dangerous and facing the wrong way.

Deep and expanding potholes in a large number of places of both lanes that require urgent repair as damage to vehicles is highly likely and I drive this route daily. It worsens every day. Previous repairs are deteriorating too.

These numerous and danger potholes have clearly been reported several times over the last few months and highways england dont seem to either care or can’t be bothered to fix them. Suprised people are not sending them repair bills for wheels as this is a known road surface issue and it is being ignored!

The road has a signicant quantity of potholes, 21st March
There are multiple deep potholes on the section of road on both carriageways, the potholes are getting worse as they have not been repaired recently. It is impossible to safely avoid the potholes when travelling in either direction for about 2 miles south bound from JCT 67. This has been an issue for many months now and is causing a significant risk of damage to vehicles.

Hi, The on slips and off slips here are really badly pitted and cars are swerving and moving around the pot holes. It is within the roadworks and really need repairing as they are really poor for a 50mph road surface.
