A Damaged / Missing / Facing Wrong Way problem has been found by Northumberland County Council Adderstone with Lucker Parish Council would like to request that Northumberland County Council reinstate the "horse" warning signs on the B1341 from the A1 to Lucker, as horse riders have had near misses recently with vehicles especially on the corners etc. Thank you for your help Isabel Hunter

Asbestos Sheets, Gas Canisters, Tyres, General Rubbish dumped., 17th April
This rubbish has been lying alongside a public footpath for several months in some cases several years. Because there is vehicle access it’s easy for the culprits to reverse in out of sight of the A1. On several occasions there has been human excrement and used toilet paper lying in the public walkway. Why can’t the entrance in on the junction of the main highway be blocked with bollards or some other type of immovable obstruction but still allows pedestrians. This is a popular walking route for the village.

Flytipping, 9th April
North entrance of the village (old A1 section of the road) fly tipping is rife. The items include old asbestos sheets which have been there for over a year. Also old tyres and wheels. But the most worrying items are over 30 butane aerosol cans which are full.

Pot holes keep damaging vehicle, 25th March
There are over 20 pot holes some of them over 4 inches deep, in the last month I have had to have my tracking done twice as it keeps knocking it out.

The Road from A1 to Twizell farm, 19th March
The road needs to be resurfaced, both sides of the road is now gravel which is having impact on the drainage system in the area, and the drains are now higher than the road surface which is causing flooding in the area

Excessive mud on whole road between Lucker and Warenford, 15th March
This road is pretty narrow and for two cars to pass they need to veer to the edge of the road. There are excessive amounts of mud making it dangerous to pass as generally a car has to brake sharply when an oncoming vehicle appears and there is a high risk of skidding (as I did this morning), making it dangerous.

Yet again I am forced to repot the condition of this whole road! Why does my report get removed from the website without any repairs being done to the road? Surface is broken down at both edges and potholed and very uneven from previous poor repair work!
