Every time it rains this road floods and becomes impassable for cars - only vehicles with high clearance can wade through the water - this has been reported several times before. BS 26/03

Sign required to identify Alnham, 21st February
The Parish Council have received the following request from a resident : Can the council put up name plates to identify the start and end of Alnham village. We often have events such as the Alnham Church Summer Lunch, and the Carol Service with Kings School and currently there are no identifiers to tell people when they have arrived in Alnham. Thank you.

Potholes / Road Surface, 5th February
The surface of the road from Alnham up to Ewartly Shank is damaging vehicles. Bin men do not come up this road. Post men / delivery men have asked us if they can stop coming up this road. I have just popped my tyre yesterday evening on this road and will be sending the bill to the council.

One Huge pothole very little road left, 17th January
This road has been requiring repairs for so long now that there is very little road left- just more of one huge pothole with road in between. It is nigh on impassable without a 4 x 4 or risk damage to your car.

24” pothole, 6th January
Huge hole in road surface with a cone in it. Avoiding traffic are now breaking up the opposite side of the road with holes forming! This is a narrow carriageway and needs addressing asap.

Cattle grid has slackened, 7th December
The cattle grid is located directly as pin pointed on the map. It has always been slightly tilted downwards into the cattle grid pit and caused a big bump as you drive over it, however in recent weeks it has slackened significantly and is tilted even more.
