Travelling north to Wooler there are two large potholes that have been filled a number of times but are reopening again. This caused many flat tyres last time so would be handy to get it patched when they are in the area repairing Surrey House corners.

Sick of reports being ignored!, 24th January
This part of the A697 has been on a downward spiral for months........... Repaired and repaired........the same as every other sub-standard repair that has been carried out in the county...... I would like Glen Sanderson to show me where the new method has been applied for repairs. Cut out, instead of patching? It's beyond belief........ It is the main trunk road north, other than the A1 on the east side of the country.......

Over three weeks of these potholes continuing to get larger. Unable to avoid them if traffic in oncoming direction as they are car width apart. Unless in farm vehicle or 4x4 these will cause serious damage to every vehicle that encounters them now. Needs urgent repair on a major trunk road.
