Large potholes, 24th April
Potholes are becoming worse at the entrance to Willowburn Centre. This road is being used by customers of the retail units and also users of the Leisure Centre. Can the section of tarmac be renewed rather than the exercise of temporarily infilling potholes as this makes the issue worse. A manhole cover is now exposed and this could cause blowouts. There are already two reports on this website and our retail tenants are now complaining.

Road Floods in Heavy Rain, 15th April
I drive this Southbound on this section of A1 regularly. Three times I have aquaplaned at this point in the last year. During heavy rain a river flows across the carriageway. It is only a matter of time before there is a serious incident. I believe the water is flowing off the east embankment from poor drainage. Water 1" deep 20m wide river across the carriageway.
