Again bins still in the road, 30th April
The bins being left in the road still continues. No update was left on my last report and it was closed.
The people are reserving car parking by leaving bins saying "not for running fox on them" this a against the law under the Highways Act. This is a public road.
A school is on this road and parents are having to not park near the school and cross a busy road due to these selfish people reseveing a space on a public road.

Individuals leaving bins in road, 24th April
The issue is lacey Street, Longhoughton has a problem parking. Individuals keep leaving wheelie bins in the road 24/7 causing an obstruction of the highway Section 137 of the Highways Act 1980.
These bins clearly have no parking for the running fox cafe written in red ink on them. The individuals are effectively reserving a car parking space on a public road.

Sunken road edge - v dangerous, 17th April
Near tge location x mark on map. The road edge and verge merge but road edge is sunk down. Causing vehicle wheels to come off road or and loose control even at low speeds. Saw this happen to vehicle when walking on pavement but frightening as could have hit myself if lost total control. Looks like a large vehicle has driven on edge and made ground sink and dig in. Also chippings and dirt collecting in road as result of debris being thrown on road by tyres. Recent issue due to large vehicles passing on narrow road and tyres edging the soft curb.

Very tall looks unstable in high winds, 8th April
This tree could do with pruning. It is unstable in high winds and very close to property. On the photo it is not in full bloom as it is early April but it is much bigger later in the year. It could damage number 18 and number 19 and also blocks a lot of light to both houses.

Abandoned car glass hazard, 3rd April
This car has been abandoned here for almost 2 years, police have been a few times but car is still sat there. Now became a target for people wanting to smash up the car and sit inside mostly teenagers. There is glass scattered everywhere and with dog walkers and other animals this is a major hazard. I’ve noticed a few other cars that are parked away from it have also became the target for the teenagers. The car is located in a car park behind 26, 27, 28, Trenchard way and the doctors surgery.
