Open / Broken drain., 27th March
The drain outside my house has been open for four months (this was when I first reported it). This was flooding the road and causing danger to motorists and walkers when it was frozen. It has been visited by council workers twice but no remedial work has been done despite the obvious hazard. As I explained to both workers who both agreed, a new box, frame and grate need to be installed urgently. This is a hazard!! The road is disgraceful with many potholes caused by water due to the drains being blocked. The drains need to be repaired and cleared, do not just put bloody tarmac in the puddles!!

Deep pothole on south side of road, 27th March
On 20th March FixMyStreet stated “This report is now closed. No further action(s) are required”. I’m not sure why as the pothole is still there & although not big, it’s deep. The road is narrow here so it’s difficult to avoid the pothole if there is oncoming traffic

Flooding and mud on road, 18th January
There is flooding to the underpass of the A69 as marked on the map. This occurs when the river floods and water and mud is left on the road/right of way because the drain is blocked to allow water to "get back into" the river. This is a well used r o way and people are having to climb up a steep/slippery embankment to bypass the flood water. People have slipped and fallen there in the past due to this ongoing problem!
