Deep unavoidable pot hole. The road is getting worse and worse by the day with new pot holes appearing everyday. There is no where for surface water to go as the ditches haven’t been dug out for a number of years.

There are a lot of big pot holes on this road that are causing damage to cars and farm machinery as they are unavoidable on a single track road

Potholes filled in have now created rough road surface. Tar is above the level of existing road surface., 13th March
ROad from Keepershield to corner at Haughton Castle is in very poor condition. Potholes which were filled in were filled in too high so the surface of the road is as rogh as it was when potholed. Additionally, mud by Keepershield is terrible.

Rotten footpath gate post, 21st February
At the top of Burn Lane on crossing the bridge there is a gate to the footpath that is almost impossible to open and close. The gate post is rotten and is close to collapse. It is a health and safety issue as soon it will tumble over and possibly knock over someone who is trying to get through the gate. The gate is not being held up by the post so has to be lifted. This is a well used footpath.

The lane is getting worse and the holes are getting harder to dodge .. To many to plot. The continued rain is washing the repaired tarmac out . The problem is getting worse one damaged wheel already .

Road and path sweeping request, 24th November
Large amounts of wet leaf litter are accumulated on the path and kerbside making the path slippery and in some places obscuring the kerb edge. May we request a road sweeper.
