Pot hole outside Burnside Cottage, 11th April
The hole is very deep and as well as dangerous to cars, when it is full of water it is getting sprayed against the house. Twice in the last week, a car has driven over the hole when the front door is open and people have been drenched, as well as the hall way and walls inside the door. It has been there for over a year but is getting worse.

Elliott Terrace is a busy road in a small village. On a daily basis farm traffic, logging trucks, delivery vehicles and recently HGV trucks use this street, and because of the poor and uneven surface, the road noise and vibration are becoming unbearable. I get woken up every morning by the noise. One of my concerns is the vibration caused which in time will, in my view, effect the integrity of the houses. Neighbours have reported pictures falling off walls. The whole street needs to be resurfaced. This will greatly reduce surface noise, and minimise vibration.

The road markings on the road B6320 from Wark Village to Parkend Farm are either non existent or very faded, the road is especially dangerous on an evening as there are no cats eyes in the middle of the road and the road is very winding.

A Slabs - Uneven / Damaged / Cracked problem has been found, 8th February
Slabs uneven causing water to get stuck now the water is pooling out the cracks between the slabs causing the footpath to be icy in the cold weather.

Potholes and mud on road, 1st February
Existing potholes reported many times but still not repaired. Poor condition of road which is covered in mud settling in departs along length of slopes and is now causing a skid hazard. Please repair as per your previous inspection when we were told works would be completed in two weeks. It hasn’t.
