A large rotting tree at roadside will have potential to come down onto road. On north side of road coming from Thornley Gate to Burntongues Burn, westbound before burn. A bit concerning & part of a popular walking route, so may receive further calls. thank you.

Stile badly damaged, 1st February
The uprights are still solid but rotted at the top. The steps have disappeared. It’s extremely difficult to get over. This prevents the footpath from being an alternative route whilst the bridge further down the burn is closed.

Road too icy making it impassable (ongoing), 7th January
Appletree Bank was resurfaced by the council making it easier to access our house (Oakpool) however the gritter only seems to grit the top of the road making over 2/3rd of the hill impassable and almost impossible to get up and down unless you have a suitable vehicle. Please can we request that the gritter comes all the way down to Oakpool and feel free to use our car park area to turn the van around. It is becoming increasingly difficult to get out of our property and use either Appletree Bank or Colliery Lane. As Appletree Bank has already been resurfaced we know that a van can get down the hill. Just leaving us with piles of grit to do manually is an almost impossible task. All residents who live in the surrounding houses to Appletree Bank would be very grateful if this situation could be rectified before the winter truly takes hold. Many thanks.

Water turning to ice, 26th November
Water coming from the grass and not going down the ditch and spilling all the way down the hill and corner causing it to be a massive patch or thick ice creating it to be almost impassable with this cold weather as it’s very slippery, if slip you can end up in a deep ditch

Tree branch hanging down causing an obstruction., 10th September
The tree branch can't be pulled down by hand as it needs to be cut. Cars are moving into the middle of the road to travel around it as it can catch the top of large cars.

A Other Right of Way Issue problem has been found, 15th August
Customer has PRoW 502/023 running across her land at Bishopfield. Her tenant at Pia Troon works land up to Bridge Eal, and had taken down a wall between customer's land and his land for his convenience. Customer thinks the occupants of Bridge Eal have re-signposted the Right of Way to take advantage of the removal of the wall but customer doesn't know whether this was changed officially. The tenancy is ending soon and the wall is to be replaced, so could we please investigate whether any official change has been made to this PRoW?
