Drainage disrupted and blocked along the A686., 15th January
About 3 years ago an inexperienced company was allowed to dig a trench alongside this MAIN ROAD. They destroyed the existing drains and it now seeps water onto the road all the time. This is a serious hazard in winter when the road ices over due to the constant water from the blocked drains. The leaves which should be cleared by the council have not been which compounds the problem. This has been reported many times over many months.

Flooding which is a hazard, 15th November
The gullies which are supposed to take water safely to the river and off the road are not working. This has been a problem for at least two years and continues during the summer months. The road is steep and the surface is dangerous with an even greater risk to traffic if it freezes over which it does every year.

The gully in the bottom of the dip is blocked which results in the water running along to the next gully which is slightly up hill so the result is fairly deep standing water.

Water running from top of bank to bottom, very dangerous in frosty weather, 13th November
The drains have been blocked since a new duct was installed for WiFi, the duct goes through most of the drains and has blocked them, all the gullies are also blocked, resulting in the water crossing the road in several places which turns the Bank into an ice rink during frosty weather. I would be happy to meet a representative from the highways if that helps?
