FIXMYSTREET IN NE47 0HW
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of NE47 0HW:
A Obstructed by boundary feature problem has been found, 17th April
The problem here was we were unable to open the gate as the stone had slipped. This would involve quite a difficult repair I should think. The only way through was to traverse a drystone wall on the other end of the gate which was collapsing.

Dangerous potholes, 11th April
After the rain on Tuesday the road between Rennys Barn and Viewley is horrendous. Recently we had over 62 potholes filled and sadly most of them have washed out. We had massive pieces of tarmac all over the road and now holes where it was. This road is in a terrible state, our vehicles are suffering as a result, we desperately need this road attened to. Thank you

Ditch badly blocked flooding road and private driveway, 27th December
The ditch at the marked location for approx 1 mile in each direction is badly overgrown and filled in. In mild and heavy rain the ditch soon overflows and is flooding the road and then in to fields and down the road to Whitehall farm. It has caused significant damage to the road to the farm and is now causing flooding in fields over 500m from the ditch and has flooded a farm building at one point.

Gate on bridleway broken and tied tight with wire, 11th November
This gate on a bridleway has been in poor repair for years. Now there is a hurdle inserted where the gate has rotted further and this is all held together with wire and rope. It is difficult to open. I had to use a penknife to cut the rope and had to untwist the wire to open the gate enough to get through (I think it would be impossible to get through on a horse or to open if you were elderly). I tied it all back up again!
