From the footpath by Slaley shop all the way up to the Townhead/B630 junction there is an excessive amount of mud and stones/chipping on the road.

Fly Tipping, 18th February
Just off North Road. You have to leave the road at the bottom of ‘the dip’ left. Through the trees, just 10-20m there is a dean that someone has tipped a lot of rubbish down. It is difficult to get to. It’s very steep. Call when you get there so that I can show you. David Foreman - 07884731549

Deep pothole has recently opened up on North Road, Wooley. The road surface is poor and deteriorating. I counted over 50 potholes or damaged road surface in the 200m west of the junction with Wooley Grange.

I am writing to bring to your attention the concerning state of disrepair on the C275 Main Street in Slaley, Northumberland, particularly in the vicinity of my residence at Police House. The road exhibits numerous potholes and deep rutting, especially directly opposite my house, impacting both carriageways. This deteriorating condition is causing significant disturbances during the late hours and early morning when rural traffic, including farmers pulling trailers, traverses the rutted road. The noise generated is not only disruptive but has a particularly detrimental effect on my sleep. As a vulnerable adult coping with severe mental illness, achieving restful sleep is essential for my well-being. The disruptive noise from the road makes it exceedingly challenging for me to get the necessary rest. I kindly request urgent consideration and action to address this matter promptly. I believe that a comprehensive repair, including proper resurfacing rather than minor patchwork, would alleviate the noise issue significantly. By prioritizing and executing these repairs, the quality of life for residents in the area, particularly those with vulnerable health conditions like mine, could be vastly improved. I trust that the Northumberland County Council Highways Department will give this matter the attention it deserves and take immediate steps to rectify the road's condition. A tree on the south side has fallen and is lying partially supported on other tree branches across the road. If it falls further it will land across this lane (a few hundred yards up from the ford). Seen 2 days ago.

Potholes, 19th January
Multiple potholes on Slaley Road towards DIPTON FOOT EAST LODGE the potholes have been repaired in the past but water damage unfortunately have damaged the surface. Could this be looked at again please as customers request.
