In addition to the large pothole already reported there is a smaller one nearby., 10th February
The large pothole already reported (photo attached) needs urgent repair as it is a road safety hazard. There is a smaller one just before the bus markings that is equally a risk and will get bigger if not repaired. Can we have an effective repair of these as the large pothole on Wylam bridge is now reappearing despite being very recently repaired.

Extremely large and deep hole, 10th February
This pothole is extremely deep and difficult to see in the dark. If hit it will cause structural and component damage to the vehicle. It is potentially the one that was fixed last week and the fix has failed. If it is the same pothole then it is worse than it was before.

Lots of little potholes all along both sides of the road from Bradley mill farm along to the corner beside Stanley burn flats. Big potholes have recently been filled here but all the little ones were just left even though they made the surface of the road very uneven and will cause damage to cars over time.

Unsafe amount of mud on the road, 8th November
The road itself is a 60 zone (Lead Road, between Stargate and Greenside) and after the final corner before reaching Greenside there is mud on the road. Conditions aren’t even wet today, just slightly damp, so it would be worse when the weather gets poorer. Just wanted to alert someone because there isn’t time to brake before you see it after coming around the corner - and braking in the mud could also cause you to skid. As there’s so much mud and cars are travelling at high speeds, it’s causing them to lose control.
