Has been an issue for months. Blind client has cut hands and face on very spiky dog rose/hawthorn bushes that are blocking the footpath. It is not an option to use the kerb to follow as the outer path is the cycle lane. Please can these be cut back and monitored to avoid further injury. Many thanks. A1 Lack of secure fencing, 3rd March
I am very concerned with the wildlife and animals safety. During the last month a deer, a cockapoo and a fox have been killed because of the poor fencing. When the roadworks begun the trees and shrubs which made our area secure were taken away. The fencing along the A1 is poor. The fencing needs to be replaced with closed fencing or mesh needs to be covered to secure our animalsand young children. What is it going to take for this to be done. It could be a child next. This is also putting the drivers in danger as if something runs into the road it could cause a major road accident. You say you have planted trees but these will take ten years to grow. Something needs to be done with immediate effect before another tragedy
