BECAUSE there are Stupid Bike LANES on roundabout Kingston Park Rd Used to be A Duel carrigeway and now it not lane markings are so stupid i wish you could fix this junction i dont know why you need bike lanes on a interchange its so bad and 2 lanes need to go A1 north because theres 2 lanes on the sliproad and add 2 lanes on Kingston Park Rd on the Mini Duel carrigeway and resuface it and ASK Newcastle upon Tyne to let you do roadworks on the interchange

3 different sets of traffic lights on the roundabout above the A1 are out of sync,, 26th March
Since Tuesday the 3 different sets of traffic lights on the roundabout above the A1 are out of sync, when the 1st set turns green the next 2 follow suit allowing rush hour traffic to get out of the city and onto the A1, this week when the 1st set turn green the next set turn red and when the 2nd set turn green the 3rd set turn red, this has caused 30 minute tailbacks up Ponteland Road plus traffic jams on kenton Road and Etal Lane during rush hour. When the 1st set turn green only a few cars can get out due to the 2nd set switching to red.

Faint / missing road markings, 2nd January
Near miss crash today, due to someone being in the left hand lane, which is turning left only and the car drove straight on towards Tesco, as I was. This part of the A1 has been completed but contractors have left multiple signs, metal framework, sandbags and cones on the side of the road causing an eyesore but also potentially dangerous. They have been present for months and signage is out of date from August 2023.

I am shocked to see the lack of safe fencing from the back of Melbury onto the A1. Wildlife and pets are being killed as running onto A1. Acar accident the other week. What is it going to take for you to listen.

Fencing removed with recent expansion and not replaced, 4th March
The fencing and vegetation removed with the widening of the A1 have not been put back in place despite assurances that they would be. 1 dog and 2 wold animals have died as a result.
