Fence damage to abandoned allotments has lead to children using it as a place to have fires, evidence of drug use and alcohol consumption., 6th July
Now the fence is down and gate is broken to these allotments children are using it as place to go. It’s the allotments opposite pickering drive. This issue needs to be resolved before the summer holidays as children will use it as a place to hang out.

Rubbish, 2nd July
This rubbish has been here for a couple of weeks, This is a beautiful area full of wildlife. Unfortunately the rubbish dumped is also in the stream that will no doubt have an effect on the wildlife .

Tree almost touching ground and blocking light, 16th June
A large Sycamore outside our house has branches reaching to only 4 feet off the ground almost blocking a footpath. It is also almost entirely blocking the lamppost stopping light from reaching into the corner of the houses, which makes that corner pitch black on a night time (when nights are darker). This has already been reported twice to Gateshead Council over the phone, who logged it, yet nothing has been done.

Fridge freezer dumped on grassed area front st, 15th June
Very dangerous if young children start playing with it could be pulled over on top of them causing serious injury needs moving as a matter of urgency

Loud noise when driving over manhole cover, 31st May
Whenever cars drive over the manhole near the bus stop it makes a loud clanking sound as if the cover is loose. The sound is particularly loud during the day when traffic is busy however can also be heard early morning/late at night.

Water leak, 2nd March
The road down from Axwell hall to town houses. There is constant water running, possibly and underground burst. Problem had been for long time. It’s causing water to flood onto a large section of the woodland area.

There are a number of pot holes in the road a smaller one near the left hand road side followed by an area of much larger ones heading towards the red kite pub on the way towards blaydon, 7th February
The pot holes have steadily grown bigger and worsened over the past few months to the point where they are now dangerous they are situated where there is turning for a yard on the left as you head towards the RED KITE PUB with rowlandsgill behind you

Large amount of potholes varied in size, 26th January
Most of the estate was resurfaced some time ago apart from 400m approx on Hanover Drive from the petrol station up to the approx hair dressers area on Newbank Walk. Done many jobs in area that involved Tarmac & road works but still not here?

Potholes and blocked gullies, 11th January
Blocked gullies and many many potholes from this junction down the hill to Winlaton Mill, some of the potholes are dangerous they are so deep. The red road material does not seem as robust as the normal black tarmac but the blocked gullies have not been cleared for years, which will have contributed to the road surface damage.

Parking on double yellow lines outside of school causing congestion at 3pm, 12th December
Makes it very difficult to drive passed whickham school, burnt house lane and dangerous for people walking. The students block paths and buses block dropped kerbs therefore pedestrians have to walk on road
