Apart from the bridle path being ploughed out in 3 fields, the issue is the gate in the location is only being held up by the gate latch. It will collapse when opened as the gate post has rotted through. It fell on me when I opened it. It's dangerous and needs to be fixed.

Multiple potholes, 5th March
The whole section of this road from the main road junction is riddled with deep and dangerous potholes which have been present and increasing in size and number for sometime now, our cars suspension and tyres are at risk of damage on a daily basis.

Poor surface causing damage to vehicles, 1st February

It's damaging to local business reputation and is costing people money in unavoidable repairs due to the shockingly bad condition of the road. Unless you're driving a 4x4, you can almost guarantee that bumper or wheel damage will occur by transiting this road.

Unusable by normal road going vehicles, 1st February
The entrance to Engine Road is now completely unusable by normal road going vehicles without sustaining damage to bumpers.
Potholes are over 6ft in diameter and in some cases 1ft deep. How can normal road going cars be expected to transit safely? There are businesses and residences that require access to this road.
I have a damaged bumper due to the neglected condition and depth of the unavoidable potholes and will be sending Northumberland County Council a bill for the repairs.

A Gritting Request - Roads problem has been found, 19th December
We would like the road to be added to the route. From from Labourns Fell all the way don't to Ravenside Farm.
This road used to be part of the route but for the last 2 years, hasn't been done.
Could we also request a grit bin or grit piles to be used by residents as it can become very icy.

Removed drain cover from the roadside, 5th November
Cover has been removed by neighbours so water passes down in heavy rain but it has left the manhole open a bollard has been placed there but this is not a lit area and left a dangerous situation. The cover is now within their property entrance

Roadside drain blocked causing flooding, 27th October
The drain on the side of the road is blocked causing the road to flood and the houses further down the lane are being affected too with the amount of water running down the lane. Water off the fields and the blocked drain. When the cold weather arrives the lane is dangerous and will potentially be inpassible with this amount of frozen water if the drain isn't fixed. 7.5 tonne road sign missing, 29th April
The 7.5 tonne weight restriction sign was broken and down for a few years there is an increase of hgv waggons and enormous farm vehicles using the lane U8116 to cut the corner from opposite the entrance to Northumbria gliding club entrance down towards broad oak quarry these farm vehicles have not been accessing any fields off the lane, there have been waggons down belonging to North East Tippers going to broadoak quarry causing a dangerous situation as it’s a single track road including a blind bend. The broken sign needs replacing urgently as the land is breaking up and narrowing...
