They Should Be A Sign Put Here Because There is Always Queues On This Sliproad and There is Lots OF TRAFFIC builds up on slip road and its not about gateheads its the shortest Lanes In the world when you get to the roundabout and Queues uses the full sliproad that i cant even get on the sliproad i miss my junction.

As you exit the A1 North Bound, these pair of signs are the only signed indicator of a speed change from a 50 to a 30. The sign here is soo faded, it is barely readable and to compound the issue, no further signs are present as you progress along the route towards MetroCentre.

On approach of A1 offslip scotswood newcastle upon tyne (back of B&Q) Numerous pot holes, passed through on my motorbike and can't avoid them due to number. Full wheel of bike falls fully into pot holes. Drivers trying to avoid pot holes are swerving. This is something that could potentially cause an accident particularly for a motorbike user

Significant potholes, 15th January
There is significant potholes for a very long stretch of the exit slip road. Just as you begin heading left the road is down to the base level as all the road surface has eroded away across 2 lanes, there is then a further very deep hole that is impossible to see in wet weather. Continuing to the traffic lights there is a further set of eroded road to base level. This was reported in the summer and still not been fixed. Replace all the surface from the traffic lights up the hill to the bends. This will last several years and ensure you don't have to keep returning to fix the same problem time after time wasting time effort and money.

There are numerous potholes forming where the road markings have worn away on the southbound slip road, the road surface is uneven with large areas missing surface courses. Road markings are non existent and debris is collecting at the side of the c/way which is blocking drainage.

Redoing Road Layout for Junction 72 Whickham Interchange/Junction 71 Metro Centre Interchange., 15th July
Mostly This Part of road has congestion at some times. the traffic jams and its hard to merge onto the A1 of the traffic I want to have 1 lane join on and add Any Vehicles for Lane 1 and 2 and Lane 3 would say NO HGVs. and make it go under junction 71 Metro Centre Interchange, they do something like this from junction 69 Gateshead Quays Interchange, if you could plan a scheme here doing narrow lanes. adding a sound barrier and it starts a couple centre meters before the sliproad to 71 Metro Centre Interchange. and it will connect to the other sound barrier, after Junction 71. New Signage like the on in photo 2
