20 mph white road marking NOT renewed ! Why renew 30 mph white road marking and NOT renew the more important 20 mph marking ! I have previously requested this to be renewed approx 2 years ago but have been totally ignored on several occasions, 23rd April
White bitumen road markings ( 20mph and 30mph ) at jcn of Trajan Walk and Heddon on the Wall have been worn away for approximately 2 years, this I have reported on several occasions. Now out of the blue, the 30mph bitumen road marking on Trajan Walk has been renewed BUT the more important 20mph bitumen road markings were not renewed at the same time ! No one ever police's the 20mph speed limit on this side of the village, please have the decency and safety responsibility to reinstate the 20mph markings before there is a fatal accident caused by the 90% of drivers who all ignore the 20mph limit ! Thankyou.

Numerous potholes, 14th April
The first stretch of road near Heddon end is full of potholes and very uneven and also further in at various points needs an overhaul. The road also floods and it’s not possible to see what holes you are driving over. Is getting to be busy with pedestrians from the new estate and there’s very few passing places

Signs and speed reduction request, 10th April
Today I was subject to a road rage incident while riding my horse. The car driver was approaching at excessive speed and only just managed to stop in time. He then subjected me to abuse and threatened to 'knock me off'. Ironically, he probably wasn't exceeding the 60mph speed limit, which is ridiculous for a single track country lane that is well used by horse riders, cyclists, walkers and runners. Speed limit should be reduced to 20 and warning signage for a 'Quiet Lane' erected. Police log no. for this incident is 061 10/24.

Flooding, blocked drains, 9th April
Previously reported - case reference number 101008995139 refers
Roadway flooded outside 27 and 29 Military Road. Attempted to prevent this by yesterday shovelling up a significant quantity of mud and debris. The gully outside of 27 seems particularly bad with significant surface water pooling on the roadway and being ‘hit’ / thrown up by traffic causing a risk of accident.

Insufficient repair, 7th April
You've already repaired this notorious pothole but unfortunately the guys haven't used enough tarmac, so consequently it's breaking up and sunk down. This is just as bad as the original pothole and getting worse each day. The tank from albermarle isn't helping.

Loose dogs on the Common, some wandering into residents’ gardens., 1st April
There have been various reports on social media of the same dogs getting out and causing problems, sometimes for other dog-owners when walking their dogs and sometimes for residents generally. Problems identified recently include leaving dog dirt, either in bags as shown or on the ground and certain dogs attacking other dogs or local wildlife. It seems to be the same two dogs in particular involved in the attacks and getting into residents’ gardens. Obviously other (unknown) dogs are involved in the dog dirt issue.
