Resurfacing SOUTHBOUND A194M White Mare Pool interchange To Junction 65 Birtley, 26th July
Dear National Highways, the road surface is so loud its kind of unfair how you resurface the Northbound A194M And Never done the Southbound A194M SO resurface the WHOLE A194M Southbound from white mare pool roundabout to J65 Birtley it would be nice to redo the whole road surface because I HATE going on this road and this Nosiey road surface its terrible its worser than the A19 Concrete!! so please national highways do something about this!

So this sliproad has queues all the time and its hard to get out something needs done about this area it needs part time traffic signals to help the traffic out on this part of road and HGVs Vehicles so add signages of queues likely on sliproad and add part time traffic signals.

Persistent parking problem, 7th January
There is a persistent parking problem with vehicles parking in the entrance to the highway depot on Follingsby lane, often lorries.
As in the photo this blocks the shared use path which is bi-directional and important as it can be a busy and dangerous location. It also blocks the ebti to the depot. The double yellow lines are clearly no deterrent.
Could a solution be investigated? Perhaps some removable and lockable bollards.

Dead fox on verge, 2nd November
Hello, there are two dead foxes on the verge of the A194m westbound carriageway, one located just before the slip road leading to the A195 and the other a little further as you go underneath the bridge. I reported the deceased animals to Sunderland council who closed my call informing they had passed this onto yourselves however the poor animals still remain there (case was closed 28/10/22). I would be grateful if you they could be collected due to potential accidents and distress caused.

LItter strewn and not cleared, 22nd February
Hi,
This stretch of the A194 is disgusting and an embarrassment to the road network. I have reported it a number of times and the reports I see have gone. When is it due to be picked? Because it is near the Amazon depot and a large industrial estate, it suffers from a massive amount of lorry and van traffic and litter here has exploded in the last 12 months. There needs to be a new strategy here as it simply is unmanageable with your current plan.

End of footpath to highway all mud and very slippy when wet i, 5th February
On the footpath on the 195 follingsby roundabout slip rd to A194 south the end of footpath is all mud when wet its very slippy , i reported this months ago in 2021 some one has been out and marked it in red spray still not paving stones put down as its near slip road in fast moving traffic

There is 2 problem areas round A194(M) Roundabout At end of some footpaths there is Stubbley stones put down and others have just mud not good when near Fast moving traffic , This was Reported Months ago still not been Fixed Just matter of time some one Slips ???
