Lamp standard at rear of Lesmahagow Old Parish Church in Lesmahagow has been vandalised and wiring exposed and requires urgent attention. This light illuminates the back of the church and has been adopted by yourselves for several years., 3rd December
This was reported to your department some time ago and I was informed that a a job number has been raised and remedial works arranged to be carried out. I am very concerned that nothing has been done about making this electrical unit safe. This area is used by the general public, and is a potential danger due to the exposed wiring.

Uprooted tree, 5th April
There is a tree at the junction of South View Road and the old A74 that is uprooted and leaning against other trees It could fall on walkers by or cars at the junction or on to the A74 Tree is 20 to 25 ft high

Faulty Streetlight, 24th October
Faulty Street-light The 2nd Street light on the Left Hand Side as you enter Priory Lane, constantly switches off and on, every 30 minutes or so Please can you fix this ? thanks

Parking at Junction/Corner, 8th February
Cars constantly park at junction/corner so when you are trying to turn down into Priory Lane its causing an issue as you are on the wrong side of the road to turn down. Car also parked part on footpath blocking pavement for parms users.

Annes view, 30th June
There appears to be a large number of dog owners in the area where i stay and only a select few that pick up after their dog. I have already asked one of the neighbours to pick up after her dog but she thought it was ok to leave it as all the other dog owners left their dog mess. it is becoming an eyesore as well as a health hazard as a number of young children, whom i have a toddler myself often play on the grassy area around the houses/flats. i woul;d appreciate your correspondance kind regards

Hundreds of potholes!!, 9th February
The whole of Priory Avenue and Priory Road are covered in potholes. It's ridiculous, my car (and hundreds of others) are being damaged every time I have to drop off and pick up my child from the Nursery in Woodpark Primary School.

Dog Fouling, 21st April

Parking on double yellow lines, 18th November
We are constantly having problems with lazy, selfish people parking on double yellow lines outside the Co-Op and Chip Shop, blocking the corners of the road who cant walk the length of themselves when there is a perfectly good car park at the back of the Co-Op. There has already been two accidents at this spot and its only getting worse not better.

Bump on road and uneven road surface - cracking road, 6th July
The road in Briar Bank is a dead end and the state of the road is a disgrace. The road surface is very uneven, cracking road, sinking,large bump and cars speeding - lots of children around

Council Fencing at Balgray Road, 29th June
The fence posts around the housing at Balgray road juts out too far causing problems when trying to turn into Priory Road/down Balgray Road. as they obstruct your view from on coming traffic. The small fence posts are extra as the housing already has boundary fencing up.

Grass at Central Reservation on B7078, 22nd May
The grass is now so high on the central reservation on the B7078 it is dangerous when trying to turn into Woodpark area. There has already been one serious accident and this must be addressed now.

Littering, 19th March
Every lunchtime students from Lesmahagow High School leave litter in the street (abbeygreen and surrounding areas) food wrappers, un-wanted food and cans.
