Blocked drain, liable to flooding, 19th June
Cross Lane slopes downwards to cottages at the bottom. Drain at bottom of lane gathers all rainwater, rubbish etc from houses + cottages above. During major rain, it can become a stream down Cross Lane. Currently drain is full of sludge and fills up during major rain, drains away slowly and cannot cope properly - it needs clearing. Cottages at risk of flooding
