Opposite the junction with Great Lane, on the side of the road to 100 High Street, 18th April
Exactly the same issue that was reported back in October, the manhole cover doesn't fit properly and every time a car drives over it, it rattles and causes a load noise that's heard within our house and our neighbours. Since your latest un-notified road works, the traffic management guys have removed the cone that was providing us all with a bit of peace, but they have decided to take this away with them, so we are back to square one with no permanent or temporary solution. The next time there is excessive rain fall, the cover will left again and no doubt further cars will be damaged as a result. Knowing this is very likely to happen again, surely makes you negligent, if anything serious was to happen?? Please can you replace this manhole cover, for a lid that fits tightly???

On Clophill High Street which adjoins Fullers Field, 15th April
There has been many problems with Anglian Water and with Telecoms which has resulted in the road being dug up for investigation on numerous occasions. The result is that the grid and the curb stones on the high street which adjoin the curb have become unfixed, have lowered, including the grid. For the people living at Fullers Field, cars have been damaged as a result when during into and out onto the High Street and the situation with the curb is getting worse over time.

Clophill Roundabout, A507 approaching from West, 12th April
I want to endorse the previous complaints about incorrect road markings. I've been driving West/ East along the 507 here for over 30 years and never had a problem. With the new road markings now suggesting both lanes approaching from the West are for going straight on I've now been cut up and nearly rammed four times since the 'improvements' by cars turning from the outer lane (without signalling!) towards Shefford. It's happened to friends too and is very DANGEROUS. Please, please forget all the new fancy flashing lights on poles for a while and do something before there's a serious accident.

Crossing near Jet, 10th April
The lights continue to stop working. They get reset and then by next day they are not working again. Just resetting is not the answer. They have never managed more than a day working and being new this is obviously a problem from installation.

118 high street, 25th March
There was an issue with a blocked drain which now and been resolved with a new, buried pipe but the dirt has been dumped in a pile with no grass seed or care and now the huge ditch out the front of my house is an eyesore that the gardener, who cuts the grass in the village, won’t touch because it is a ditch. I would like someone to tidy it up by filling in the ditch to make it level and then putting grass seed.
