FIXMYSTREET IN MK45 2AU
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of MK45 2AU:
Back of 38 Ampthill road, on Harrow Piece, 26th April
Pavement now turning into pot holes. My children have injured themselves numerous times coming out this way as we don’t have a front drive. Both neighbours either side of us (40 and 36 Ampthill road) do not have this issue as theirs has been resurfaced. This is a danger to cars and pedestrians and needs to be fixed, just as the houses either side of us has.

Recently, the streetlight directly outside of this address have become much brighter. The light shines directly into our house and we are finding them very disturbing at night and it is keeping our young child awake.
Can we request for this to be changed to a more appropriate wattage.

Directly outside 42, The Coppins, Ampthill MK45 2SN, 3rd April
This pothole has been getting worse over the last year and is directly in line where I turn onto my drive. There is also a smaller break in the surface of the road 20 yards back up the hill where there is a steady stream of water coming out of the ground which means the pot hole is always full of water.

The Gully pot and cover are now completely obliterated by mud and other rubbish washed down Badger Hill,,You cant even see the grating - my feet are where the gully should be!! How your Inspector missed the point entirely when I reported this to you earlier this week. - when it rains an enormous puddle forms as the gully on the South Side cannot cope. If he wishes your Inspector could call me on 07801294916 and I will show him what I mean!!

All the road signs along this stretch of road, 26th March
30mph signs have been put up on all the road signs along this road. There seems to be no zone change of speed limit and as far as I was aware, this road is/was a national speed limit on this section from haynes west end to bolebec farm where it becomes a 40mph. How can a 60mph speed limit become a 30mph without any intermediate speed changes or notice of speed changes? This seems dangerous and confusing as there is no visible zone change. Has this been done legitimately?

There are no speed limit signs. '40' is painted on the roadway but this looks temporary and is difficult to see. There are no other speed limit signs until the end of the dual carriageway. What is the speed limit here please?

On the footpath opposite Chestnut Mews & along the Ampthill Road, 17th March
I stopped in my car as I saw an elderly gentleman trip over here. The path is extremely rough and there are 2 definite uneven areas where he fell. He was sensibly dressed for walking. I gave First Aid as he was disorientated & his hearing aids had fallen out. His glasses had also cut his face. I escorted him across the Ampthill Road to return to his house on the Flitwick Road.
