Long potholes, dangerous for narrow wheeled vehicles e.g. Bicycles, 24th April
The cheap resuface of tar plus grit is wearing off all along Carlton road making it very unpleasant for cyclists. At the point indicated the road foundation has also given way leaving a 4cm wide 1+m long hole 3-4cm deep which could catch the front wheel of a bicycle causing the cyclist to fall off. Potentially dangerous to life or limb not just damage to the bicycle.

Overgrown hedge at Monks Row, High Street, Pavenham, 5th June
The hedge at 1/2 Monks Row that abuts the main road, High Street, has become significantly overgrown and is merely sporadically pruned which achieves nothing in improving visibility. The 30mph sign is now completely consumed by the hedge. The hedge needs proper maintenance or removal if this is not possible due to the neglect over the years. The hedge completely obscures the, now near blind, entrance into the row of cottages (serving 9+ houses) meaning that cars are forced to pull completely into the road before they have a clear view. It would also be worth mentioning there are no pavements along this stretch so is this not only dangerous to road users and cyclists it is an accident waiting to happen for pedestrians too.
