Graffiti on exit countdown marker, A421 E/A600 jct, 7th January
There is graffiti on the 300 yard countdown marker for the junction for the A600 from the A421 eastbound on the outskirts of Bedford. I believe it has been there for some time.
It has the initials DSC.

On 16/9/23, I noticed that a street light by the crossing on the entry slip road to the westbound A421 was on during the daytime.

Exposed concrete drain cover at edge of road, 16th May
Southbound immdiately before brow of bridge over dismantled railway, the roadside edge is crumbling and there is a large concrete drain cover at an acute angle with a sharp edge standing approx 5cm proud which punctured two tyres when I had to avoid an oncoming vehicle which was quite wide coming over the blind brow around the blind corner. There are no warning signs of any type. What three words location are explains.encounter.intention just north of the problem.

A421 missing sound barrier prior to A600 exit between 300yrd and 200rd markers, 8th July
There is no sound barrier prior to the 300 yrd marker and 200 yard marker prior to the A600 turning on the A421. The missing barrier allows road noise to reach the nearby housing area. The noise if the road means I either have to keep my bedroom windows shut or wear earplugs in order to sleep. The noise seems to be worsening over the years due yo extra traffic and reduction in road surface quality.

Street light broken, 6th December
Street light doesn’t come on when it gets dark. All the rest of the lights in the street work fine. The sensor is missing from the top of the light, (the others in the street have this sensor).
