Lights on during day on A421 E exit sliproad for the A428 (A4280), 7th January
A number of street lights are on during the day on the eastbound exit slip road of the A421 on the approach to the roundabout.
I think this has been happening for a while.

Graffiti on junction sign on A421 eastbound at A428 Bedford jct, 7th January
On the large junction sign prior to the exit slip road for the A428 (A4280) junction for Bedford, Renhold and Great Barford, there is graffiti on the bottom of the sign. This also has the initials DSC as per the issue reported at the A600 junction (see FMS5410044).

On the entry slip road to the westbound A421, there is a pot hole just prior to the traffic merging from left ahead warning sign that is to the right of the slip road.

Incorrect signs to A4280, 10th August
The road signs for exit from A421 Eastbound and Westbound incorrectly indicate a route via A428 to Bedford, whereas this road has been re-numbered A4280 for many years. The incorrect designation (A428) is continued on signage and road markings along the A4280 with the exception of local (black and white) signs which correctly designate the road as A4280. This issue has been present since at least 2015, and probably much longer since the construction of the A421 Great Barford bypass.

Lighting on sliproads, 11th January
This slip road has constantly no working lighting coming up to the roundabout. This is dangerous when coming off the A421 now it is dark earlier and in the rush hour if vehicles are queued back from the top of the roundabout or if a vehicle has broken down in one lane. I am not sure if this is a fault with the lights or whether it is the intention for them not be lit up but all seem to not be working. The slip road on the other side also has a line of street lights out so all needs checking.

2 vans parked at an intersection, blocking the view of cars exiting housing estate, 27th August
There are 2 vans parked at the start of an Intersection and a hazard to cars leaving the cranbourne gardens housing estate needing to Turn left , with a near miss of oncoming cars not visible until past the vans. If they were parked further down the road, then oncoming cars would be visible and less of a hazard. They have been there for more than a week.

Mini roundabout needs repainting, 12th August
The mini roundabout at this location is not ideal. Sight lines are obscured by undergrowth and it is not uncommon for three vehicles to arrive at the same time causing confusion over priority. However the white paint marking the circle has worn away and needs repainting.

Man hole cover has cracked and will soon fail as a car goes over it possible causing substantial damage to car or even trapping it in place. It is located on left hand side of Whittings (off station road) at the first archway to garages on the left hand side. Manhole cover is in the middle of the archway. Its a plastic man hole cover that is proably not suites for car traffic.
