FIXMYSTREET IN ME8 8SR
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of ME8 8SR:
20mph Sign Hidden, 1st May
At roughly the junction of Lower Rainham Rd with the new housing estate (travelling from the 3 sisters end) the only 20mph sign on the right hand side is mostly covered by trees The 20mph road markings are on the right hand side of the carriageway and therefore not blatantly obvious when heading towards Gillingham. If you're not from the area, they are both easily missed or misread Speedlight roadsigns are vital for safe driving. It's 20mph along that stretch of road for a reason.

Unclear Signage, 30th April
When Otterham Quay meets the Lower Rainham Road it’s very unclear of the speed limit on Lower Rainham Road. There are signs in Otterham saying 30 but part way along LRR there’s a sign in the road saying 20. I can only think some signs are either missing or overgrown . There’s a new housing estate being built so important to have adequate signage.

The chair was left out with recycling/waste on bin day by someone. It’s now blocking the path and a broken part of it is on Wimborne Drive. I am concerned that someone might get hurt walking past it and it looks unsightly.

HMO (House in Multiple Occupancy) 256 Station Road, 30th March
If you live the the lower part of Station Road ME8, please be aware that 256 Station Road is being converted into a HMO. No authority has been sought form Medway Council Planning or Building Control. This suggests the owner is not one for following rules and we may end up with tenants who are the same. I have registered my objection with the council and encourage others to do the same.
