Our parking permit signs got stolen a long time ago now over 4/5 months of not longer why are you not replacing them as people now park in my road without a permit and I can’t park in my own road . The signs have only been stolen once and never been replaced could you please fix this problem so that everyone that buys a permit can have a chance of parking in their own road paying for a service we’re not getting not great

Dumped old kitchen cabinets, 11th May

Behind 288 Canterbury Street. Looking at the state of the back garden, I think this is their rubbish. They are notorious locally. Alleyway is badly blocked. My earlier report from round the corner has slightly different, but more, rubbish.

Illegal parking, 9th May

Thu, 09 May 2024 15:03:52 +0100
51.393412 0.544728

The person parks here on a daily basis. Despite there being more than enough room in the designated parking bays. Doesn't leave much room for pedestrians with wheelchairs, or pushchairs/prams.. meaning they then have to walk in the road.

Parking over driveway, 1st May

Wed, 01 May 2024 18:29:02 +0100
51.390074 0.570562

This situation is ongoing. I have repeatedly asked the council to double yellow line. It's obvious it's across my drive. I've reported to the council and the parking wardens. They take details but never attend. How hard can it be to yellow line. Being told no budget isn't an answer. What am I paying council tax for??.

Yet more flytipping in alleyway opposite the Sikh Temple in Byron Road, 27th April

Sat, 27 Apr 2024 11:08:34 +0100
51.378144 0.546116

About halfway down the alleyway (walk down from Byron Road, opposite the Sikh Temple, towards Montgomery Road), there is a dumped wheelbarrow with a broken wheel and a huge bag, as used for delivering mammoth quantities of building sand, filled with all sorts of rubbish! Watch out near there for the usual broken beer bottle glass that will have come from one of the THREE off-licences in the area, doing their bit for civilised society! Additionally, just before you reach this filth, there is a discarded kitchen waste bin container, approximately outside the rear of No.90 Shakespeare Road, containing rubbish, and with other crap around it. Please kindly arrange, yet again (as the alleyway has only recently been cleaned!), to get rid of all of this stuff, and, hopefully, to find out which reprobates on this occasion have been responsible. Thanks.

Disabled people in mobility scooters/wheelchairs will not be able to pass, and people with young children and prams will have to walk in to the road at a corner which vehicles often go round at speed.
