Deteriorated Road - Causing vibrations from street into our home resulting in building cracks., 1st May
Since a repair in the road performed 15 months prior, the levels in the road have been compromised, at the present time as vehicles pass over this spot they are made to jump from one height to another, the landing following the jump especially with large vehicles is to such an extent that it sends vibrations through the homes of houses adjacent to the road side. The vibrations have become so severe that cracks have appeared in the outside wall and internal walls of the home. As we are located close to a power station we have found that large numbers of HGV shipments at night are creating vibrations to the extent that they can wake you up throughout the night, with so many elderly folk living in the care homes around this location this is becoming a concern. My elderly neighbor as one example has reported the same issue and is interrupted by this issue daily. i would appreciate if you can get back to me on the next steps to investigate and alleviate the concerns around this issue.

There are also several notifications on.the A2 at Gillingham but this is miles away. There needs to be signage on Dock Road, Chatham & on the approach to the Medway tunnel.
