Manhole cover with pothole around it, 13th April
Manhole cover - unsure of ownership with surround failure. Approx 150mm gap around chamber top on several sides. Nearly caused me to crash on my motorcycle while avoiding it. Please pass to SU or fill to make safe until SU repair.
Location is between Kings head pub and Chart Road - offside wheel track going up hill.

Stream flowing down South Lane, 11th April
There has been a constant stream flowing down South Lane in Sutton Valence for months now. There is flowing water every day, it's wearing a groove in the road surface. Clearly a drain or culvert is blocked further up the hill.

Pothole, 21st January
There is a deep pothole in the middle of the road near to the corner of the Chartway street A274 junction I hit it three days ago and have had to put my car into the garage as the front suspension was damaged.

Very nasty pothole, 12th November
Downhill direction.a really nasty and vicious pothole.deep and sharp edged. possibly the same one that was reported here in august. this hole is very likely to damage many vehicles as can't been see in the dark.

Blocked drains and blocked gutters, 20th August
The drains and gutters are so blocked the water runs into our driveways. Have never seen a road sweeper in this road. It will get seriously worse when the leaves fall. Gutters need clearing of years of grass and weeds. Rainwater had nowhere to go! This is right opposite the entrance to the church. In Chart Road.

Hedge overhanging into very narrow part of road by 1 metre, 23rd June
Hedge has been overhanging since the Spring and is causing traffic hold ups especially as this is the narrowest part of Chart Road and is causing traffic flow problems at school times because of Sutton Valence Prep school and also parents parking for Sutton Valence Junior School. Cars queue here to exit out on to Sutton Valence A274. There is no pavement either.

Why is there no signage whatsoever to indicate that chart hill road is completely and utterly unsuitable for the articulated lorries that are going to the fruit packers at the other end of the road. absolutely laughable.
