Trench dug without permission, 15th August
Reported by PC 30136 PEARCE
We attended today CAD KP-20220815-1163. This was a call by residents of the area reporting travellers who had dug up a trench outside sewage station (W3W ///chairs.unfounded.free) this had a site reference of 102516. They have dug a small trench outside the station for a water pipe to be fitted. They believed they had permission for this as they had enquired with South East Water but are yet to be provided with permission. The trench has been filled back in with the dirt but they wish to fit it at a later date.

A set of temporary traffic lights are delaying traffic unreasonably., 21st April
There is no sign of any repairs going on. A short section id coned off and traffic lights in place for a contraflow system. No explanation on signs of who is meant to be doing what. The lights are inefficiently phased, as there is a 3 mile queue in an east bound direction and barely and queue westbound. Does anyone take responsibility for ensuring the reasonable flow of traffic on Kent highways?

Despite the large notices at the N end of Fairbourne Lane and at the S end of said lane large (40 ft. artics and lowloaders) continue to try to use the lane as a through way. This is not possible. In the past I have backed them down the lane to a turning point and sent them back either to the A20 or Lenham Road. I am no longer prepared to do this. It is too dangerous and before long someone will be seriously injured or run down. articulated lorries and low loaders continue on this laneAt the point of Fairbourne Mill they are unable to carry on S at Fairbourne Mill they are unable to carry on N. The pinch point of the road is Fairbourne Mill pond and the angle of the corner makes it impassable. I am now going to put a nocice on my land telling such vehicles that they will be unable to progress in 100 yds. My, 29th September
Sorry did not realise there was a second area for writing
