Litter around J7 of M20, 18th March
There are disgusting levels of litter all around J7 of the M20. The area has not been cleared of litter properly for years. The slip roads and main roundabout at J7 require some serious attention. I live in this area and it's a disgrace.

M20 between J6 and J7, 5th February
I was stuck in standstill traffic at around 8:30pm today coastbound on M20 between J6 and J7. There was a 50mph limit in place as they was closing the motorway between J7 and J8. However, whilst all the cars were filtering off the motorway, all going around 5mph the enforcement camera flash pretty much each car as it went past. Potentially a faulty camera, as no car was travelling faster than 5mph

I reported these large potholes to KCC in January 2023 10 months ago and no repair has been effected. So now also reporting to Highways in case it is your job to repair them. These are in lane 1 of the roundabout between the exit slip from the M20 London bound and the entry slip for the M20 London bound.

The irony, 23rd October
The sheer audacity and irony of you placing 'don't litter' signs when your traffic management workers are one of the biggest culprits of roadside litter with their constantly dumping of their road work paraphernalia. Right near this sign at junction 7 for example is tons of disused old redundant equipment simply left dumped everywhere.
You can guarantee that every major road and junction throughout the country will have dumped equipment littered everywhere. Are you not totally embarrassed by the mess your workers leave everywhere?

Nightmare, 1st October
Congratulations to the people who think it's acceptable to close the m20 over the weekend for resurfacing. Maidstone is gridlocked, residents can't leave the town with enduring a hellish journey. That's 2 weekends we've had to put up with this. Get it sorted. Resurfacing should be a nighttime activity to impact as few people as possible. NH....what a joke

Trees and other vegetation obstructing cycle and Footway 17, 7th September
The width of this, lottery Funded, cycle route has become reduced to a narrow path (less than 50% of its metalled width), for much of its length, by trees and Bramble Bushes; I have sustained flesh wounds using this route. In addition, the overhanging trees at the Boarley Lane end of the route make the path very slippery in wet conditions.

Drain cover not covering hole in road, 6th April
One of the two drain covers on the A249 southbound between the M20 junction 7 & the Notcutts' roundabout has fallen into the hole, leaving a hole in the road.
The drain cover comprises two triangular sections, which both seem to be in tact so an easy repair may be possible
I found a discarded cone which I have placed in front of it to reduce the possibility of a motorcyclist, cyclist of other road user from crashing into the hole

Dangerous tree, 2nd March
There is a large tree in privately owned land adjacent to M20 j7 slip road north (London) bound carriageway.
The base of the tree has significant decay and I believe it is at risk of imminent failure. The crown of the tree and lean of the main stem would suggest the tree will collapse towards the motorway. It’s difficult to say, but in my estimation the tree would partially block some of the carriageway due to proximity and height.
I walk past this tree on a daily basis and the decay is getting worse month on month.
Although the tree is on private land, it is publicly accessible from Pendenden Heath should you wish to inspect it to liaise with the landowner.
I can send photos if required.
