Increase in flytipping, 3rd May

Fri, 03 May 2024 18:15:02 +0100
53.477858 -2.117459

I noted items here last week, but they have now increased. Tyres, fridges, bags and general rubbish. Both tipped, on top of and underneath the bridge. The whole area needs looking at. In fact the WHOLE of Tameside needs sorting. This is affecting my mental health, and no doubt many other people, which will in turn increase your costs for health care services. It is also damaging our earthly home, and that of the animals/ wildlife. PLEASE address the wider issue and not just keep picking it all up. Address the causes. Educate people or prosecute them. It's not fair that the rest of society (and animals) are suffering. Good day to you and Good luck.

Good afternoon. This "route to work" would make someone depressed before they even got there. So many issues, from flytipping, to overgrown walkways, bags of dog foul and just litter everywhere. It's barely accessible, and definitely damaging the environment aswell as people's health. Please bring back some pride to tameside

Good afternoon I've noticed lots of litter and rubbish dumped here that is causing damage to the environment and to local wildlife. Not to mention an eyesore and will soon attract vermin. Please can you send someone to sort it safely before a member of the public risks their own safety. Thankyou

Vehicles parked on the curb near T-junction, 24th April

Wed, 24 Apr 2024 16:44:15 +0100
53.476343 -2.144394

The house owners has parked 2 of their vehicles (Audi A1 & Volkswagen T-ROC) just infront of the T-junction from The Orangery onto Ashton Hill Lane, when they have 2 parking spot which most of the time is unoccupied. The turn is relatively tight and when these vehicles are parked there most of the time during the day is obstructing the view when turning onto Ashton Hill Lane from The Orangery. It also sometimes proposes dangers to cars turning into The Orangery when there are cars waiting to turn onto Ashton Hill Lane, as they are not able to complete the turn due to the obstruction. This has been ongoing for almost a year now.

Should I have to avoid pedestrians on this cycle path, 18th April

Thu, 18 Apr 2024 16:50:06 +0100
53.490468 -2.109387

On more than one occasion I have had to slow right down to avoid a collision with a pedestrian. Is this a shared-use path or are pedestrians forbidden? Maybe there should be signs saying no pedestrians if that is the case, as people seem to think they can walk there.

Obstruction on road, 15th April

Mon, 15 Apr 2024 17:34:03 +0100
53.483557 -2.10165

Every day there are 10 or more cars parked outside this garage. It causes a dangerous blindspot on Wellbeck street South and Victoria road. There's traffic coming in 4 directions and theres cars and vans blocking the view. Also cars parked fully on the pavement. The business doesn't own a car park and is using a public highway to park an excessive amount of vehicles. It's not only inconsiderate to drivers' saftey but a danger. This has been happening for a couple of years. There was even a skip left a couple of months ago on the main road.
