Fence falling down, 7th April
17 bray ave winton eccles mc/rThe fence along my house which is a previous highways fence is falling down and in the winds a 30ft section is only just attached at the top and then bottom blows out at 30degree angle my cars are on my drive and this will fall on my cars if not addressed very soon resulting in a large insurance claim,this fence was falling down 3years ago when I bought this house but its now getting to become a health and safety issue as a piece blew off last week and nearly hit my dog

Chronic flooded live lane, 27th February
Jct 14 slip onto the M60 This is a 2 lane slip road I was in lane 2 and an HGV In lane 1 and there is no lights as you go under the bridge Lane 2 flooded constantly and car lost control as flood was not seen until last minute This is the 3rd serious near miss I have seen on this road now and the flooding needs urgent drainage works as someone will die and this is you're warning to make changes and actions on this slip road I will report to local media if something happens to a person

A572 Several Large Potholes in road are becoming dangerous as they devlop., 27th January
A572 Worsley Road surface has been breaking up for several months between Ringlow Park Road and Welbeck Road. Several large potholes spread across the carriageway are becoming dangerously large.

Damaged Fence Line, 23rd November
This is the 3rd report at this location with no obvious action taken to remedy the situation. No updates apart from case closed. The boundary fence from the motorway down the embankment to Wardley Hall Road is badly damaged, falling down and in disrepair with large gaps. This is allowing people to climb through and access on to private land and a disabled angling club water with relevant problems of antisocial behaviour, vandalism, litter and poaching of the fishing rights. There is also a concrete retaining wall alongside the road that has a steel hand rail on top of it that stops short of the private fence and this also could do with being blocked off to stop people climbing up to access the broken fence line. This as been an ongoing issue for nearly 2 years and the angling club would like to have it resolved. Thank You.

Damage to Fencing leading up to M60 slip road, 23rd May
Some fencing has been damaged meaning that people are climbing into Wardley Hall through the gaps. There is a moat beside this area so as well as trespassing they are in danger of drowning or injuries on the sloping land that leads up to the M60 slip road. We are unsure how long it has been damaged but caught some people climbing over last week. Thank you

Cutting trees late at night, 2nd April
The trees were being cut last night at 1am on 1st April (and many times before this), we get no notification and it causes disruption waking us up during the night with our windows closed, last year was worse in summer when we needed windows open due to the heat hence this email. For reference this is more than just my household that’s been impacted by this. We never have any leaflets to let us know or any communication. Thanks

Exposed, corroded rebar in M602 bridge, 1st April
Damaged concrete with exposed, corroded rebar showing in upright of M602 bridge, visible from the pavement under the bridge. Comparing the photos I have taken and the photo visible on Google maps street view 2 years ago, it looks like the damage/corrosion has progressed since then.

Incorrect speed limit reduction on M62, 24th February
At 2052 on 5/12/22, on M62 westbound, the variable speed limit between J12 and J11 was set to 40mph due to the closure of lane 1 due work in progress. Was the limit set incorrectly? I ask as this goes against guidance in section D3.7.26 of the Traffic Signs Manual, Chapter 8. This section states the maximum reduction should be 20mph or 0mph with light traffic. Accordingly, the speed limit should have been set to no less than 50mph. Was the 40mph limit set incorrectly or was there a genuine and considered reason for disregarding the guidance and applying the 30mph reduction?
