This is the area in front of our house where car is parked… This area of the street needs attention because of it’s bad sewerage system … Gutters are blocked , when it rains, there becomes a pool of water, unable to reach the car parking area… due to stagnant water, flies and mosquitoes are always there… please, resolve this problem for us…Thanks!

RATS are becoming a MAJOR problem - they are everywhere., 11th May
These photos were taken yesterday AFTER the bin men had been! We want the big communal bins back as clearly using individual bins is not working! I have lived here for 34 years and we have never had a rat problem like this before. Apparently the large bins were too heavy to drag across the cobbles so the idea was to tarmac over the cobbles, but then there was no budget to do that!! We are in a big mess here and feel like we are living in a slum. Please come and talk to people round here to find out what's going on. We need help!

There is rubbish overflowing in bins and rubbish on ground at entryway on Damien Street, needs cleaning up as mice and rats are being seen Damien st and Stovell ave rubbish everywhere yet again these residents should be fined they have not respect for where they live , sort it out or Manchester evening news will be told and it’s a showing up for Manchester council yet again!!!

Zig zag lane parking, 9th May
Parents from our school are trying to fix the problem of zig zag lane parking during morning drop off and afternoon collection by organising volunteer patrols. Some parents are ignoring this efforts and keep stopping their cars in forbidden areas and making dangerous manoeuvres (reversing etc) . This is very narrow residential area and when they do that the whole street is totally blocked and causing dangerous situation for children who are walking to school.

This is getting to be a real problem with fly tipping, as soon as it’s removed it’s back again, the estate is overrun with rats due to people constantly dumping their rubbish

Trees, 5th May
All trees along longden road need something doing , all bottom of trees are full of weeds as you can see on one photo , there are dead trees nearer stockport road end of longden road and tree in picture is outside 58 longden road leaning over onto wall , some trees need a good trim but idealistically residents want them removing , no one looks after these trees , the weeds cause cats dogs to poo wee and mice love to hide in them , residents who live here now dont want them , when they were first put in it was all good but new residents hate them from one thing to another , they should be removed and planted elsewhere where they would be apprieciated , ive reported these many times on behalf of residents but get daft answers or fobbed off , some residents pulled them out themselves when they were leaning on road etc i reported it but got no reply so residents did the job of sorting them
