After the rain overnight on Saturday, April 28th, 2024 flooding occurred right across Toddington Road, as can be seen in the photographs. The flooding is exacerbated by the fact that several of the drains in the area are blocked. The problem occurs every time it rains. The Parish council is very concerned as the water turns to ice in the winter.

Hockliffe Road, Tebworth. Close to the Queen's Head pub, 29th April

The flooding is exacerbated by the fact that several of the drains in the area are blocked. The problem occurs every time it rains. The Parish council is very concerned as the water turns to ice in the winter. Water flows across the road and down as far as Willow Tree Farm, The Lane. Again, several of the drains are blocked on The Lane.

Two lights not working on A5 in Hockliffe, 2nd April
There are two street lights that have failed in the centre of Hockliffe. One either side of the road. One is outside the Old White Horse on the south bound carriageway. The other is almost opposite on the northbound side outside Hockley Court. Makes this area of the road very dark and dangerous, especially with regular speeding traffic.

Deep Pothole, 13th March
This pothole is in the entrance coming off the A5 into the Harvester and is dangerous as this section also acts as the footpath. This is the 2nd time of reporting! Someone could break an ankle or a vehicle would ruin a tyre and wheel

Junction of Tebworth road and Lords Hill, 12th March
Huge give was sign of damaged and not facing the correct way so the junction is not properly marked. The give way sign on the opposite side of the road (on featherbed Lane) has also been turned around and incorrectly marks the give way. This is very dangerous.

Start of Featherbed Lane off Lords Hill, 5th March
Potholes have previously been repaired by the Council but it only lasted a few weeks and is now huge on a busy through road for commercial traffic to Chalgrave Manor

Hockliffe Road B5704, 22nd February
Coming from Woburn, the dick Whittington cattery is on the left, the main traffic lights seem to be out of sync. They have been like this since January and I use this road often and it has never been like this. Traffic is queuing from the national speed limit road with an average wait of 20-25 minutes to get through at peak times. Maybe the lights are not staying green for as long or the sequencing is off so it is taking longer to let traffic from Woburn go. I am well aware hockliffe is busy for traffic but coming from Woburn I have never seen the traffic like this like it has been the past month or so due to the sequencing. Thank you for reading.

Close to the temporary traffic lights connected with the development of Tebworth Solar Farm, 20th February
The edge of the road is breaking away on the opposite side to the traffic lights where vehicles have had to partially drive on the verge to get around the lights and cones. The road is narrow. This has caused a significant dip between the road surface and the verge.

Road is flooded due to blocked road drains, water is flooding property as it backs up. Elderly residents are struggling to get in and out of their property. The council needs to clean these drains regularly/annually to keep up maintenance before serious flooding causes property damage.
